The Warriors are coached by Curtis Bowcutt and assisted by Ida Heck. Their manager is Maddie Brown.
The Warriors are a union of girls that have been playing soccer together since U5-7 Clinic. Formed through the communities of Davidsonville, South River, Mayo and Annapolis, the team (Originally called the 'Strikers') officially came together in the spring of 2006. Since then we have worked our way to the top of every county league, indoor league and soccer tournament in Anne Arundel County. With the support of our parents, the hard work of our kids and the professional training we have introduced, the Warriors are ready to engage in the strong competition that WAGS has to offer.
Our coaches, Curtis Bowcutt and Ida Heck, have been coaching soccer for a collective 10 years, from clinic to U12. Certified as Anne Arundel County Coaches, they are working toward their 'E' Coaching License and beyond. Having engaged professional trainers from UK Elite, Crystal Palace, and soon Coerver, our coaching philosophy is focused on skills and motivation. Providing an environment that allows our kids to grow and prepare for future competition while enjoying the game they love to play today. This balanced approach has been successful, earning the Warriors several Championship Titles in our early years as a team!
